Natalie Ramos

Natalie graduated from Stanford University in June 2006 with a BA in Spanish and a Minor in Human Biology. At Stanford, she developed the SCOPE Medical Interpreters program at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center to provide Spanish and Vietnamese linguistic services to ER patients. She also tutored Spanish-speaking Stanford janitors, served as a Patient Advocate at a clinic in East Palo Alto, and contributed to a published study on "Reducing Stress Among Latino and Anglo Dementia Caregivers," sponsored by the National Institute of Aging. Natalie spent the Winter 2005 quarter in Roatan, serving as the clinic's first intern. She now co-directs the internship with Jennifer and provides web support to Global Healing. She is a first year medical student at USC's Keck School of Medicine in East Los Angeles.
